Intertwining love, passion, humanity and the compassion to forgive with the most curious crimes and keeping the secret till end and making the whole issue more interesting throughout the episode and presenting in a most readable way is the mastery of the mystery writer Agatha Christie.
The elephants – people who are interrogated or interviewed for knowing the reasons for a crime far after a decade -- coming one after the other may seem to be very confusing but still the chain of story is never cut and keeps the reader with ease and gives clues all through the novel till the secret is revealed at the end. It keeps your mind ringing about the facts and gives you no space to leave it for too long without completing it.
No doubt that it’s a boon for the humans to forgive and forget, that’s at peak is the zest of the story. Though one can’t find and breathe taking adrenaline rush through the read, it is a moderately curious structurally built edifice on which anyone’s eyes can rest with peace for hours.
For speed readers one can pick the sentences at ease between the pages and understand theme quite quickly.
